Calendula oil is an oleolite , that is, it is obtained by macerating the part of the plant of interest in a vegetable oil (or a mixture of vegetable oils). The calendula oleolite FLORA is obtained by macerating the calendula flowers in olive oil, sesame and sunflower oil for about 45 days. The parts of the plants are filtered, leaving all the active ingredients and properties in the oil.
Calendula oil is very delicate , and is very suitable for the care of sensitive and chapped skin of children and the elderly. Many mothers, in fact, use it in case of diaper rash to restore the correct trophism of the skin; it can also be applied to the nipples of new mothers to prevent the appearance of cracks. Also very suitable in case of insect bites, thanks to its emollient, soothing and calming properties. In Ayurveda , calendula oil is a rebalancing of PITTA skin (sensitive, irritated and acne-prone skin).

Marigold Vegetable Oil 50ml Flora
Ingredients
100% pure vegetable oil produced with cold-pressed olive oil (Olea europea), sesame (Sesamum indicum) and sunflower (Helianthus annuus) and macerated demeter marigold flowers (Calendula officinalis) (30%), vitamin E of vegetable origin.
It is said that calendula was born from the tears of Aphrodite , shed for the death of her beloved Adonis. This gives it a sort of lunar value, known as Yin in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). It is therefore suitable for "putting out fires": it reduces redness, soothes, calms. Calendula has a double value: in addition to lunar it is also solar, just like its color, bright and cheerful orange (it is no coincidence that its name means "Follower of the sun") and therefore helps to revive atonic and dull skin. The use of calendula oil for skin well-being was already known in ancient times: the Egyptians called it the plant of eternal youth. Thanks to its richness in flavonoids and triterpenes it can be used to combat the appearance of facial blemishes.
Vitamin E is of vegetal origin, increases the shelf life of the product and enhances its effect, carrying out an antioxidant and re-epithelializing action.
